It’s been a privilege to walk together over the last few years and being a part of God’s plan for building, equipping and mobilizing the body of Christ in Hong Kong.
We would like to invite you to take together the next step in this journey, and to be a part of Gateway Training::Camp::Outreaches 2012 - GPS [Go::Partner::Serve]

As we know, China is being raised up and blessed by God today in globally influential ways, so that the Chinese peoples in turn can be a blessing to all nations. Hong Kong’s role as a spiritual Gateway continues to grow in importance in serving God’s flow of redeeming love out from China to all peoples.

Many in Hong Kong and the mainland are being awakened by God to reach out to the nations with the good news of the gospel. But also many believers in the world are aware of this and expectant to receive the Chinese in their own nations; partner with them and serve God’s purposes to reach out to the lost.

That’s why we believe that the season has come to…

• Go… where He has been preparing us to go with Him, beyond where we have dared to go before.
• Partner… with those from the generations and nations whose strengths and experience we need in order to take new steps of faith,
• Serve… in ways that express His heart, are sensitive to the felt needs of people and are effective in sharing the gospel.

Getting in action… Now, it’s a great idea to talk about going out to the nations, but, how are going to do it? There are many things to have in mind, like the fact that you may need to…
• pray and plan earlier in the year
• have more time to identify an overseas outreach location
• have more time to raise the finances for the team
• provide a stronger training for the team leaders
• recruit and prepare the team members earlier
• have the support of the entire church in sending the team
• have more time to identify and get to know potential ministry partners

There are three levels of involvement that you may consider, according to the outreach location that your teams will take part of:
• Level 1: local short outreach
• Level 2: overseas outreach
• Level 3: overseas outreach in partnering with another team/ministry

Because of this and many other factors, we encourage you to start preparing now for these things.
We believe that Gateway 2012 is more than just a summer event; it is an opportunity and a tool that can help you develop the youth, families and emerging leaders of your church.
